Our purpose, and how NOW is the best time to transform your body

As I write this, we are mostly stuck in isolation due to the covid-19 outbreak of 2020.

Although this is a terrible time, there are some great positives to be drawn from the situation we are in.

Being isolated is a great opportunity to think about what we have to offer the world. It is a great opportunity to re-discover our purpose and it is a great opportunity to work on something new or work on ourselves.

Since being in isolation myself and having to close the doors on our facility, I have been doing a lot of re-purposing for my own business, RHCoaching.

We specialize in helping people prioritize and improve their bodies, because we beleive that our physical state impacts every aspect of our lives and therefore we must make it a priority to live within a body that makes us feel proud, energetic and confident.

We are coaching people how to form effective and sustaiable habits around their mindset, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle to give them the body they desire and the ability to maintain it.

Our mission is to provide a method that will give people total control of the way they look and feel.

People who are out of shape generally live a lower quality of life compared to what is possible due to stress and fatigue levels being higher, and confidence and pride levels being lower.

They try to solve this by undergoing another diet, or joining another slimming club or gym, which only leads to short term behaviour change and therefore short term results that are lost over time.

What these people need to do is work on making habitual change. If they can complete daily tasks that are contentable, convenient and consistend then they will more likely maintain these habits and therefore results for much longer.

RHCoaching helps people achieve exactly this by coaching people around the 4 pillars necessary to create a long lasting body transformation - Mindset, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.

By applying the 3 C's to habit change to each of the 4 pillars, radical and sustainable change is possible, leading to an increased quality of life.

I believe that NOW is the perfect time to make this happen.

We are in a position of doing much less than we are used to and being stuck at home much more.

I can see a couple of trends happening as a result.

Firstly, people are curling up and doing very little. Eating bad food as a result of boredom or emotions, not exercising due to lack of motivation and spending much of the time sitting down on the sofa waiting until all this blows over.

Secondly is the person who wants to make the most of this situation. This person is exercising daily, either away from home or within the home. This person is taking the time they now have to prepare and organise their nutrition and is keeping mentally strong.

This second person see's an opportunity here to get fit and healthy. An opportunity that may not have otherwise come about.

The reason this opportunity is now here is because we have had a massive change in circumstance. With a radical shift in lifestyle, we are now open to suggestion and our brain is willing to try new things.

Why not make the most of this situation and the time you have been gifted to better yourself in one way or another?

Then, when all of this comes to an end, we can resume our normal life from a fitter, healthier and happier body.

My clients are doing this every day. We are making MORE progress now, then we did a few weeks ago from our gym. The reason? People are now willing more than ever to adjust their habits, and they have less excuses not to work on themselves.

All they need is a bit of a push and some guidance, and they are away!

So I challenge you to do the same.

Use this time productively and start working on yourself. Achieve those goals that you have not yet achieved. Become a master of your own habits.

Here is what I would recommend:

1. Discover what it is you want to achieve. Like, really want to achieve. How exactly do you want to look, how do you want to feel? What are your ultimate goals for your life? Your business? Your family?

Write them down.

2. Link getting FITTER and HEALTHIER with these visions. How is prioritizing and improving your body going to help you achieve these? Is it because of youer energy increase? Or confidence? Or reduction in stress?

3. Now write up your specific goals. What EXACTLY do you want to see happen in the next 6 months.

4. Now, write up your WHYS. WHY do you want to see this happen. Get emotional. Dig really deep. When you have an answer, ask WHY again.

5. Finally, create a plan around this. Now you know what you want and why, now we need to discover HOW. Write a plan. Commit to it every day. If we lose motivation, repeat from step 1.

As I have already mentioned, we have a HUGE opportunity here to achieve some great things.

Are you going to commit to them?

Or are you going to do nothing but wait for this to blow over and then go back to your old life.

NOW is the time to prioritize yourself.

NOW is the time to commit to your health and fitness goals.

NOW is the time to invest into your own self development.
